By Captain's Brecht & Loesch
March 27, 2014
Recently, your Sadsbury volunteers which included Captain Loesch, Lieutenant McCarthy, and Firefighter Conover, completed the Pump Operations certification I & II. The content of this course was multi-faceted. Starting with Emergency Vehicle Operations, emphasis with placed on the proper skill sets to operate and drive apparatus. In addition, basic pump skills were taught with a heavy emphasis on varies water supply, multiple line operations, and calculations. Training was conducted at the new Chester County Fire Training facility in South Coatesville. We encourage all volunteers to actively participate in as many training opportunities as possible.
