By Sadsburyville Fire Company No. 1
August 11, 2014
This evening, Firefighters and Driver/Operators of the Sadsburyville and Westwood fire company's, performed deluge gun and portable blitz line training under the direction of Sadsburyville Captian Brecht. Engine 31-2 crews hit the hydrant behind CTDI, supplying Engine 31-1, which in turn, supplied Engine 44-5. Operators of all three apparatus went into service with LDH, and deployed deluge streams via 2 deck guns, and an Akron Mercury nozzle. Crews worked through varies degrees of pressure and volume constraints to achieve desired results. Our thanks to the Westwood fire company in joining us for another successful Monday evening training.
