On February 21st, 2015 at 2051 hours the Sadsburyville Fire Company was dispatched for the rapid intervention team to assist on a working structure fire on East Highland Road in Highland Township. Engine 31-1 and Engine 31-2 responded simultaneously at 2059 hours with a total crew of 10.

Sadsburyville units arrived on scene moments later and set up the RIT assignment on side A. Units from area fire companies worked diligently on a cold, windy night to quickly bring the fire under control. Fortunately no firefighter maydays were transmitted during the operation and the RIT team was not utilized.

Sadsburyville units cleared the scene at 2201 hours. Thank you to the Wagontown Fire Company for standing by in our station during this assignment.
