Barbecue Grill Fire in Sadsbury Park, Sadsbury Township

On Sunday April 12th, 2015 at 1017 hours the Sadsburyville Fire Company was dispatched for a barbecue grill in the 100 block of South Harner Boulevard in the Sadsbury Park section of Sadsbury Township. The caller reported a barbecue grill on fire on the 2nd floor deck of a residence.
Deputy Chief Supplee arrived 2 minutes after the time of dispatch and reported a barbecue grill well off. Engine 31-1 arrived 4 minutes after the time of dispatch with a crew of 4 and led off with a portable ABC fire extinguisher. Crews quickly extinguished the fire and checked for extension.
No further damage to the structure was discovered and the assignment cleared at 1025 hours.
