Field Fire off of Octorara Road, Sadsbury Township

On Saturday April 11th, 2015 at 1705 hours the Sadsburyville Fire Company was dispatched to Sadsbury Road and Octorara Road in Sadsbury Township for a field on fire. Numerous calls to 911 reported several areas of a field on fire with people trying to put out the fire.
Assistant Chief Reynolds arrived at 1711 reporting a 4,000 square foot area of field on fire and requested a brush truck to the scene. Engine 31-1 arrived at 1714 hours and led off with water cans and rakes to contain the fire. Brush 08 arrived at 1718 hours and assisted with mop up.
The fire was quickly under control at 1717 hours, all units cleared the scene at 1740 hours.
