Fire Companies were dispatched on Friday May 27th, 2016 at 1442 for an electrical fire inside in the 1200 block of Airport Road, Valley Township. Engine 31-1 marked enroute at 1447 with a crew of 5 firefighters.

Minutes later units arrived to find no fire or smoke conditions from the exterior of the building. Wagontown Assistant Chief Patton was on location reporting a haze and odor of smoke in the Ballroom area and established Airport Road Command, Chief Grossman assumed operations.

Firefighters used thermal imaging cameras to search for fire with negative results. It was believed the condition was traced back to a furnace malfunction. Firefighters used natural ventilation to clear the smoke from the building.
