Sadsbury Township Community Day and Eric's Place Dedication
By Fire Chief Adam Grossman
August 20, 2016
Another community day went into the books for Sadsbury Township as citizens congregated at Bert Reel Park Saturday. The day included food, fun and and an opening ceremony of Eric's Place.
Eric's Place is a play area for children that was recently constructed in Bert Reel Park. This was named after Eric DiLabbio who suddenly lost his life at the age of 3 back in 2009. Eric's Place was erected in honor of his memory.
Other events included karate and dance demonstrations, a junior firefighter challenge, K-9 dog demonstrations and blow up bounce areas for children. The Sadsburyville Fire Company and Keystone Valley Fire Department had their fire apparatus on display for everybody to see.
Thank you to the Sadsbury Township Board of Supervisors and all of the volunteers for bringing community day back to Sadsbury Township.
Units:
Engine 31-1, Engine 31-2, Command 31
