Investigation on West Stewart Huston Drive, Sadsbury Township

On Saturday September 17th, 2016, Sadsburyville Firefighters answered the second call for service for the day bringing an investigation in the 200 block of West Stewart Huston Drive in Sadsbury Township. Engine 31-1 and Engine 31-2 both responded with full crews.

Upon arrival Engine 31-1 took position on Side A of the one story commercial building. Engine 31-2 took position at the fire hydrant preparing to lay in to Engine 31-1 if needed. Firefighters went interior investigating an odor of something burning inside. Battalion Chief Brecht established the Command and Deputy Chief Reynolds assumed operations.

Firefighters encountered no smoke or fire conditions inside and the source was believed to be an air conditioning unit. Power was secured to the unit and the service company was summoned to the scene. Firefighters returned to quarters within 25 minutes of the call.
