Daisy Troop 4223 visits Station 31

On Monday evening February 6th, Daisy Troop 4223 from the Rainbow Elementary School, paid our station a special visit. The theme of their visit was entitled Courage. Each young lady was presented with their own custom fire helmet and gift bag.
The girls were lead on a tour of both our Engines by Nationality Certified Firefighter, Jennifer Holmes. The girls reviewed all the functions, equipment, and tools, and experienced trying on firefighting gear, and playing with a fire hose to hit a target across the road. After the final group photo, we were honored to be included in their cupcake party in our hall.
