On Monday August 14th, 2023 at 16:06, the Sadsburyville Fire Company was dispatched as part of a first alarm assignment for the house fire in the unit block of Stone Lane in East Fallowfield Township. This was a Westwood Fire Company local, and units from Cochranvville, Modena and Keystone Valley were also on the response.

It was quickly determined this was a working house fire and a working fire dispatch was requested from the responding officer staff. Units arrived to find fire showing from an attached garage and rapidly spreading into the main house portion.

Rescue 31 arrived as second due engine, followed by Engine 31 as 4th due engine company. Firefighters assisted with deploying additional hose lines to attack the fire and stop the spread. Simultaneously firefighters made entry into the structure to search for any occupants and open up the ceilings and walls to stop the fire spread.

A second alarm was requested for additional manpower. There was an issue with the fire hydrants working and tankers were used to shuttle water into the scene. The fire was under control at 16:46 with all hands working.
