At 14:30 hours The Sadsburyville Fire Company was alerted to assist Modena Fire Company in the 1000 block of Laurel Road in Newlin Township for a large brush fire.

The fire had spread to involve over 15 acres. Engine 31 made the response and upon arrival went into service with a 1-3/4 attack line.

Multiple units operated on this fire scene from Chester, Lancaster and Delaware Counties.

This is the 3rd outside fire of the day that SFC units responded to.
